	Community Resources – Mental Health Professionals

CONSUMERS

Please use this section to discover more about the counseling profession. Counselors in the State of Michigan are licensed as either Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) or Limited Licensed Professional Counselors (LLPC), and/or Certified as School Counselors. Psychologists are licensed as either Licensed Psychologists (LP) or Limited Licensed Psychologists (LLP). Social workers are licensed as Limited Licensed Bachelors Social Workers (LLBSW), Licensed Bachelors Social Workers (LBSW), Limited Licensed Masters Social Workers (LLMSW), and Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW). All of these mental health professionals work with a variety of populations including children, adolescents, young adults, families, couples and seniors.
